The determination of the mechanical properties a brazed joint is an important factor to reach metallurgical level development. This paper evaluates properties, and its correlation with microstructure, W-CuCrZr in high vacuum furnace using 80Cu-20Ti flexible filler material tape form. meant be implemented divertor application future fusion power plants. Main experimental parameters were brazing temperature 960 °C dwell time 10 min. microstructure was constituted by Cu solid solution Cu4Ti phases. last phase distributed W-braze interface. Mechanical evaluated means Vickers microhardness tests applying pure shear loads. profile indicated that W remained as-received hardness but CuCrZr base softened after procedure.
